result of the Strawberry Store fire on Jan. 23, 2010
Following the Strawberry Store fire on January 23, 2010, the "Union Democrat" newspaper published articles
concerning the fire and posed questions concerning the Strawberry Fire Department non-response and the
purpose of the Strawberry Fire Protection District Board. SPOA has responded to this issue and has posted

You are invited to attend the next Strawberry Fire Protection District Board meeting. Meetings are
conducted on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6 pm at the Strawberry fire house. The next three
meetings are on: March 16, April 20, April 28 and May 18. You can state your concerns directly to
the board.
